HIPERTENSI, DASH DIET, DAN MULTIDISIPLIN ILMU

Abstract


Hipertensi adalah kondisi dimana tekanan darah melebihi batas normal. Hipertensi merupakan faktor risiko penyakit kardiovaskuler. Hipertensi bisa terjadi akibat perubahan gaya hidup, utamanya dalam konsumsi makanan tinggi natrium.
Penanganan hipertensi dimulai dari kesadaran pentingnya menjaga tekanan darah melalui pembatasan makanan tinggi natrium, tinggi kalium dan kalsium; aktifitas fisik teratur; dan hindari alkohol yang dikenal dengan istilah DASH Diet.
Untuk mencegah dan mengobati hipertensi membutuhkan peran dari multidisiplin kesehatan dan pihak terkait.
