Literature Review: Dampak Pernikahan Usia Dini terhadap Stunting

Abstract


Pernikahan dini di Indonesia berdasarkan Undang-Undang yaitu sebelum berusia 19 tahun. Pernikahan dini merupakan salah satu penyebab stunting yang merupakan gangguan tumbuh kembang pada anak yang dapat diidentifikasi degan menilai panjang badan atau tinggi badan anak. Prevalensi stunting saat ini masih cukup tinggi. Di Indonesia, prevalensi balita stunting berdasarkan laporan SSGBI tahun 2019 yaitu 27,67%. Review ini bertujuan untuk menelaah pengaruh atau dampak pernikahan usia dini terhadap stunting dengan menggunakan metode literature review pada artikel asli dimulai tahun 2013-2023. Berdasarkan 19 artikel yang direview, diperoleh hasil bahwa pernikahan usia dini berpengaruh atau berdampak pada kejadian stunting. Selanjutnya akan dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut terkait upaya yang dilakukan untuk meminimalisir dampak pernikahan dini terhadap kejadian stunting.

According to law, early marriage in Indonesia is a marriage before the age of 19. Early marriage is one of the causes of stunting, which is a growth and development disorder in children that can be identified by assessing the child's body length or height. The prevalence of stunting is currently quite high. In Indonesia, the prevalence of stunted toddlers, based on the 2019 SSGBI report, is 27.67%. This review aims to examine the influence or impact of early marriage on stunting using the literature review method in original articles from 2013–2023. Based on the 19 articles reviewed, the results indicated that early marriage influences or has an impact on the incidence of stunting. Furthermore, further research will be carried out regarding efforts made to minimize the impact of early marriage on the incidence of stunting.
