Author Guidelines
Journal of Non Communicable Diseases (JOND) is a journal dedicated to the publication of scientific manuscripts in all fields of health science that discuss non-communicable diseases. Journal of Non-Communicable Diseases (JOND) is a medium for research, innovation, knowledge, and new ideas and hypotheses in the pharmaceutical field, both for pharmaceutical development, analysis, education, and applications. The Journal of Non-Communicable Diseases (JOND) is published every six months (April and November) by the Health Polytechnic of Gorontalo.
The statements and opinions expressed in these articles are the responsibility of the author and are not necessarily the responsibility of the Editorial Board, Health Polytechnic of Gorontalo.
Manuscript Delivery
Manuscript submissions to the Journal of Non Communicable Diseases (JOND) must go through the system online submission.
The basic requirements for articles submitted to the Journal of Non-Communicable Diseases (JOND) are: a) Original work; b) Has not been previously published and is not being considered for publication elsewhere and, if accepted, will not be published elsewhere; c) Has received approval from the Ethics Committee (optional); d) Obtain signed informed consent from subjects for articles involving human subjects.
Language
The Journal of Non-Communicable Diseases (JOND) publishes articles in English. The editor encourages authors to submit their articles in English.
Writing
The article is neatly typed (Book Antiqua, 11), 1.15 spacing in A4 format and made according to the TEMPLATE that we have prepared. Authors will be notified of reviewer and editor comments.
Article Type
Several types of articles that can be submitted include: a) Research articles (maximum 25 pages, 35 references); b) Review articles (maximum 40 pages, 100 references); c) Case Reports (maximum 10 pages, 20 references)
References
References should be written using the Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote tools in the style of "Chicago Manual of Style 17th edition (author-date)." We recommend using the Mendeley reference management tool.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submitted scientific manuscript has never been published before, nor is it currently under consideration and review in another journal.
- Manuscripts are submitted in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word document file format.
The manuscript should be neatly typed (Book Antiqua, size 11), 1.15 spacing in A4 format and made according to TEMPLATE that we have prepared, which can be obtained by clicking the template icon on the right side bar of the JOND journal display or by clicking here
All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed in the text at the appropriate location in the scientific manuscript (not at the end of the manuscript).
