Systematic Review: Efektivitas Aplikasi Mobile dalam Edukasi Kesehatan Reproduksi Remaja
Abstract
Adolescent reproductive health is a global priority in the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda, while Indonesia's adolescent population, which reaches 24% of the total population, still faces various challenges in accessing information related to reproductive health. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of mobile applications as a medium for adolescent reproductive health education through a systematic review approach. Using the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, a literature search was conducted on the PubMed, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and Web of Science databases with relevant keywords. Of the 21,900 articles identified, 19 articles published in the 2020-2025 period met the inclusion criteria. The results indicated that mobile applications effectively improved adolescent knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to reproductive health. Interactive features such as educational videos, articles, podcasts, FAQs, and chatbots were key to the application's success. There is strong evidence that mobile-based interventions have a positive impact compared to conventional education methods. Implementation challenges include limited access to premium features and the complexity of medical terms. Future application development needs to consider accessibility, privacy, and content that suits adolescent needs. It can be concluded that mobile applications are an effective tool to improve adolescent reproductive health literacy in various geographic and sociocultural contexts.
