Pengaruh Senam Dismenorea terhadap Nyeri Dismenorea pada Komunitas Remaja Putri di SMP IT LHI Banguntapan Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta
Abstract
Dismenorea adalah menstruasi yang disertai dengan rasa nyeri, hal ini terjadi karena terjadinya pelepasan prostaglandin yang berlebihan dan mengakibatkan kenaikan kontraksi uterus sehingga terjadi rasa nyeri saat menstruasi. Dismenorea terjadi dikarenakan peningkatan jumlah prostaglandin F2a berlebihan pada saat menstruasi sehingga merangsang hiperaktivitas uterus serta kejang otot uterus. Tujuan penelitian untu mengidentifikasi pengaruh senam dismenorea terhadap penurunan dismenorea pada siswi SMP IT LHI Banguntapan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Pre Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one grup pretest posttest design yaitu penelitian eksperimen yang hanya melibatkan satu kelompok sebagai kelas eksperimen tanpa ada kelompok kontrol. Desain penelitian ini diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) dengan pre test dan post test sebelum dan sesudah senam. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa skala nyeri sebelum senam 4,93 dan sesudah senam 2,27 dengan nilai p value= 0,00. Hal ini menunjukan adanya penurunan nyeri dismenorea antara sebelum dan sesudah senam dismenorea pada siswi SMP IT LHI Banguntapan.
Dysmenorrhea refers to menstruation accompanied by pain, which occurs due to excessive release of prostaglandins that increases uterine contractions, thereby causing discomfort during menstruation. Dysmenorrhea arises from an elevated level of prostaglandin F2α during menstruation, which stimulates uterine hyperactivity and uterine muscle spasms. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of dysmenorrhea exercise on reducing dysmenorrheic symptoms among female students at SMP IT LHI Banguntapan. This study employed a pre-experimental research design with a one-group pretest–posttest approach, in which a single group served as the experimental unit without a control group. The assessment was conducted using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) questionnaire administered before and after the intervention. The findings indicated that the mean pain score prior to the exercise was 4.93, which decreased to 2.27 following the exercise, with a p-value of 0.00. These results demonstrate a significant reduction in dysmenorrheic pain after the implementation of dysmenorrhea exercise among the participating students.
