Focus and Scope

The aim of JNC is to promote excellence in nursing sciences and practice through the dissemination of the latest, evidence-based, peer-reviewed clinical information and original research. This journal covers a wide range and consider articles of nursing on all aspects on nursing area such as:

Fundamental of Nursing: professional care provided to meet the basic needs of sick and healthy individuals
Pediatric Nursing: nursing care needs of sick and healthy infants, children, and adolescents, addressing their biopsychosocial needs
Maternity Nursing: nursing care on all maternal periods, women’s reproductive health and women’s violence
Psychiatric Nursing: professional nursing care for people to meet the mental health needs of sick and healthy individuals
Family and Community Health Nursing: professional nursing care for prevention and promotion to improve quality of life and well-being in the community.
Critical and Intensive Care Nursing: professional nursing care of critically ill patients
Medical Surgical Nursing: professional nursing care for adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems and diseases or are recovering from surgery.

Peer Review Process

Articles which are submitted to Journal Nursing Care will be screened and sent to the peer reviewer through a double-blind review process. After the article is reviewed, it will be returned to the author. The sending process from reviewer to author and vice versa is performed through an online system until the article is declared ready to be published.

Authors need to make sure that their manuscripts are prepared in a way that does not give their identity, by separate the title page and the manuscript body.

The article review process usually takes an average of 10 weeks. This review period depends on the editor's and reviewer's duration in reviewing the manuscript.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

 

ethical approval

We require every research article submitted to JNC to include a statement that the study obtained ethics approval (or a statement that it was not required), including the name of the ethics committee(s) or institutional review board(s), the number/ID of the approval(s), and a statement that participants gave informed consent before taking part.

 

Disclosure and conflicts of interest

All authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed. Examples of potential conflicts of interest which should be disclosed include employment, consultancies, stock ownership, honoraria, paid expert testimony, patent applications/registrations, and grants or other funding. Potential conflicts of interest should be disclosed at the earliest stage possible.
